BC Cup Info for Racers

We're excited to have you racing at Coast Gravity Park for BC Cup Downhill Series - September 16th and 17th, 2023. 

To Do Before BC Cup Downhill Series 

  • Get your tickets on our online system (under events)
    • Friday, September 15th is a practice day. Saturday the 16th and Sunday the 17th are race days. 
    • If you book for all 3 days - Friday, Saturday and Sunday, a discount has already been added. 
  • Book your ferry
  • Check the clothing regulations (below) 
  • Get stoked and have fun!

While we are offering camping at the park for BC Cup weekend, spaces are limited and there are no hookups. No drones will be allowed on the weekend.

We will have food trucks, vendors, a beer gardens put on by Batch 44 and our friends at DHaRCO Squamish will be in the park with clothing, gear and event specials.

Jersey
The jersey shall be a long-sleeved shirt whose sleeves extend down to the rider's wrists. Jerseys used in downhill events should be specifically designed and sold for use in BMX Racing or Mountain Bike downhill events. Jerseys designed for road cycling, skinsuits, or one-piece suits comprising the jersey and the pants/shorts are not permitted for downhill events. The jersey must be either close fitting around the waist or tucked into the pants before the start not to cause interference.

Pants
Long or short pants combined with suitable knee and shin protection are authorized. Such long or short pants should be of a type that is specifically designed and sold for use in BMX Racing or Mountain Bike downhill events. The long pants described above must be of one-piece construction and be tear-resistant material. They should cover the entire length of both legs until just above the shoe or ankle. The short pants described above must be of one-piece construction and be made of tear-resistant material. They should be worn together with suitable leg protection, covering the entire knee and shin until just above the ankle.
