Do I need a full face helmet and body armour?

A helmet is needed to ride and a full face helmet is highly recommended. Body armour is strongly recommended.

What kind of bike should I bring?

The ideal bike for the park is a mid to long travel suspension bike – although riders will be able to enjoy the park on any type of mountain bike. Front and rear brakes are mandatory. Fat tire bikes do pose an issue as they don’t fit on our trailers.

Do you have bike rentals available on the mountain?

What is the minimum age to ride without an adult?

Coast Gravity Park strongly recommends that children under the age of 13 do not ride alone and should be accompanied by an adult.

Trails & Services

What kind of trails are there and how many will you open?

We have opened with 17 trails. Our current inventory will appeal to a wide spectrum of rider styles and capabilities ranging from beginner green wide-open machine built trails to technical black diamond downhill trails. We are continuing to build more trails and expand on the network we have in place.

Can we shuttle ourselves in the park?

Unfortunately not, only park shuttles can operate in the park.

Do you have an uplift?

We have shuttle service for uplifts.

Do I have to purchase a day pass to ride the park?

You must purchase a pass to ride the park. No hiking is permitted in the park.

What is your cancellation policy for Stay & Ride RV Packages?

The cancellation policy for our CGP & Mid-Coast RV Stay & Ride Packages is that a cancellation must be made at least 72 hours in advance, and a date change at least 48 hours in advance.

Where can I buy my day pass to CGP?

CGP park passes are available for purchase here.

How can I buy a seasons pass?

CGP park passes are available for purchase here. They are valid right through the season- typically April to November/December - depending on the weather.

How far in advance do I need to book a day pass?

Passes are available online right until the day of the booking.

Are the passes transferable?

Coast Gravity Park passes are not transferable.

Can I change my riding date?

Date changes are accepted within 2 days of your booking and can be done within our online booking system.

What is your refund policy?

Refunds are only available up to midnight 48 hours before your booking. You can do so on our online booking system

You can change your booking date up until midnight 24 hours before your booking. You can do so on our online booking system.

No refunds or date changes will be given after midnight 24 hours before your booking date.

Private day rental info & cancellation policy

We have private day rentals where you can book the entire park!

Private day rentals are available when the park is open (typically Mid April to Mid November) on days that we're not open to the public. You can find this info using the calendar on our booking system under Private Day Rentals.

You're able to cancel your private day up to 15 days before the booking minus a cancellation fee of $500.

The Park & Getting Here

What are your operating times?

Summer operations: Open Friday – Monday from 10am – 4pm.

Fall/Spring hours: Saturday and Sunday from 10am – 4pm.

How long is the ferry ride from Vancouver to Sechelt?

The ferry ride from Horseshoe Bay to Langdale is a beautiful and scenic 40-minute trip. Cars and passengers only pay one way on this route.

Are there ever any wait times for arriving or departing ferries?

Reservations are highly recommended, as wait times can be very long during summer months and holidays. Here are the BC Ferries schedules.

Where can we stay on the Coast?

Destination BC has done a great job assimilating all accommodations across the coast, from campsites to motels. We also have some special deals on AirBnB's. You can see them on our Visit page.

What time do you open and close the park each day?

The gates will be open to public at 9 am and closed 30 mins after the last shuttle.
