Coast Gravity Park is now accepting applications to fill the following positions for the 2024 season:

Shuttle Drivers (Class 4 License)

$19-$20 based on knowledge and experience

Coast Gravity Park is looking for new team members to drive our shuttles!

This position requires the applicant to possess a class 4 driver's license (must be able to drive a mini bus) with a clean record and basic first aid (training provided).

Tasks:

  • Performing daily truck/trailer checks 
  • Accurately reporting any issues with the shuttle vehicles/trailers
  • Driving the shuttles smoothly and at a consistent speed (automatic transmission)
  • Maintaining a clean truck and being aware of fuel/fluid levels
  • Collecting park garbages and disposing of them at the end of each shift
  • Assisting guests in loading and unloading their bikes safely
  • Responding to first aid incidents when required

Food Truck Cook

$20 - $25/hour based on knowledge and experience plus tips, of course!

You’ve seen the blue and white Boler food truck at the Coast Gravity Park. Now’s your chance to run it!  

You'll be running the show at our food truck, making sure everything's smooth and top-notch. This includes keeping the place clean, taking care of the equipment, maintaining food quality and safety, and giving our riders an awesome food experience.

Working with the Coast Gravity Park Operations team, you'll manage the kitchen operations, coordinate food samples and stock, handle food prep and kitchen safety, and ensure the kitchen is cleaned regularly and meets all sanitation standards.

Here's what you'll do:

  • Plan a weekly menu for the park, private rentals, and events as needed.
  • Prepare, grill, and cook food in our cozy food truck at Coast Gravity Park.
  • Sell alcoholic beverages.
  • Follow proper sanitation procedures and make sure food safety standards are always met while cooking.
  • Keep the truck and kitchen clean, including food prep areas, cooking surfaces, and utensils.
  • Pay attention to the details, especially when it comes to food standards, costs, and safety.

Here's what you need:

  • Must be over 19 years old.
  • Have a reliable vehicle and valid driver's license.
  • Have "Serving it Right" certification and BC FOODSAFE Level 1.
